Jive (jive) - a kind of swing with free movements. This is a fairly fast, energetic Latin dance that includes a variety of elements, throws. Jive is one of the most difficult ballroom dances. The history of dance

What is Jive?jive


The word " jive "is similar to the South African word" jev "to speak disparagingly." But in the American translation it sounds like"mockery". that really fit the character of the dance.


Jive is quite a difficult dance to perform, requiring excellent physical shape. It greatly differs both in character and in technique from the rest of Latin dance. Fast, consuming a lot of energy, Jive for spectacular performance must be performed with great efficiency.

Jive

"Jumpin' Jive" (also known as "(Hep-Hep!) The Jumpin' Jive") is a well-known jazz-swing composition, written by Cab Calloway (Cab Calloway), Frank Preba (Frank Froeba ) and Jack Palmer (Jack Palmer) in July 1939.
