Krump

(Kingdom Radically Uplifted Mighty Praise) is a contemporary dance and style of music. Krump originated in the southern neighborhoods of Los Angeles.

The dancers are grouped into groups known as families. Such an organization is similar to the structure of groups in Break dance. Each of the families is formed around the main dancer Big Homie, who acts as a dance instructor and as a spiritual teacher of others. The internal structure of the family has its own hierarchy. The level of the dancer in it is based on professionalism and respect for others Kramerov There are other "positions" in the family. Younger and inexperienced dancers are under the patronage of the elders. Experienced krampera teach the newcomers and allow them to speak on their behalf in dance battles. For example Lil’ Homies often get the name of their Big Homie. Lil’ Homies dancing under Tight Eyez patronage, include jr. Eyez, Eyez Lil, Soulja Eyez, Eyez Young ALIK. In Krump there are the following titles: jr(junior), lil, young, boy, kid, baby, child, tiny, infant, twin, prince, Souljah, General.

History

Dancer Krump'a. Australia

By the birth of Kramp has a considerable relationship respected (at least among children) Thomas Johnson. It is also known as Tommy the Clown (Tommy the Clown) — the Creator of clawning-style clown dance. In one of their video interviews, the founders of the dance movement Krump-Mijo and Tight Eyez talk about how Krump started: "One day we came to Tommy the Clown (founder of the dance movement Clowning), one of the dancers of the highest class. He loved the way we dance, "says Tight Eyez and continues," but before Mijo and the others were in the band, it was just me. So I started to dance, but not like the other dancers There. I couldn't dance in the style of a Clown. Finally took and Mijo, they noticed his. And then we created a new style. First, we don't call..." Thought Tight Eyez Mijo picks up: "Yeah, you hear that? New style! Not Clowning, we Clowning danced. From the very first day we were Krump-dancers. At first, people didn't like the way we dance. And they rejected me. I've been told this is the last party I dance at. And then I can go all four ways. But in the end I joined the group. Eventually people started liking the way we dance. And we created a real dancing monster." Quietly in the process of the story the founders of Krump style go to as there are some movements who invented and began to use in the new style. Mijo notes: "Chez was the first to start making arm swings (approx. author: Arm swings are used as an exclamation point at the end of the dancer's movements). Chez has become a true professional in his field. The rest of them looked at his movements as something very strange, because they didn't look like all that perfect form, all that pop and girly moves. I don't know how it all turned out, but one day we together with Chez, Jay Smooth came up with another movement — wobble. Chez was motivated first by the shoulder, and then did a wave a downward spiral. That's how the wobble came about, and I gave it that name. Around the same time as wobble we came up with stomp."

Then began cooperation with Cartoonz. Baby C, one of the members of the Cartoonz family, says that at the beginning of their career there were many trials: "in Fact, the movement began with a few guys who just had fun, wanted to earn some money. We took as a basis our dances, even tried to dance a strip". Another member of the Cartoonz Stix family notes, "I was thinking, if we have such a dancing talent, why not get together and do something to make money?"In their case, the real assistant was Mama Toon. She opened the doors for all teenagers who loved dancing. This woman wanted to do something so that children do not just hang out on the streets, but do something positive and do not get into unpleasant situations. And she managed to create a great atmosphere for this. Often neighbors complained and called the police. But police came and understood, that in its house is happening something good. Teenagers are under supervision, they do not use drugs, do not shoot each other. About what Krump for the founders, thinking Mijo: "Tight Eyez — Krump spiritual performer. He calls it a dance that praises God. I'm going my own way and not doing commercial projects, I'm not dancing in Hollywood like Lil C. I just love God and try to live my life as it should."

In our time share, in fact, krump (old school), new style of krump and clowning (the brainchild of Thomas Johnson). Teenagers, ignited earlier with the clown, Tommy grew up and is now dancing a different dance. Yeah, he's just as Groovy and fast. But there's a certain gloom and a healthy share of aggression, and its members almost do not decorate the face makeup. Crump continues to be a dynamic and rhythmic like its parent (clowning-style). There are the same intermittent arching, chest-priests (chest pop — rhythmic movement of the chest), waving his hands and jumping. But now added aggressive and even violent movement: from dancer requires dramatically and with a certain cruelty dismiss the accumulated "dark" emotions, which gathered within in a result daily struggle with hostile the outside world. Dancers, move as if in some very rapid trance, splashing out their own rage. New style of krump has changed entirely the old type of dance and turned it into something quite different and strange, which led to the division of the dance era. In the New style disappeared some hand-waiving, energetic jumping, drama, emotions which informed the dancers splashed their rage and accumulated "dark" energy within us.
